Dragon age inquisition romance with cassandra. Novels

Everyone is probably already familiar with the fact that in games as a couple, dialogue options can occur that can lead to romantic / love relationships / lines with other characters. The game is no exception! Here you can now flirt and raise the level of a certain "availability". This guide / walkthrough was written to make it easier for you to go through the love line for a certain hero and achieve success.

In order for your new relationship to be successful, you must first consider whether there are opportunities for flirting. If there is, then you need to gradually increase the rating, along the way opening the path to a more serious relationship, which in turn gives something more.

In addition, your main character will be able to complete the task of the Inner Circle - this includes tasks / quests / missions of your party members / associates. In addition, you need to consider your gender and race, as not all characters may be available to you when choosing a race and gender.

Cassandra

Only a man can spin with her, but absolutely any race! As with the rest, you just need to lay the foundation in a relationship - a little flirting. To raise the pace of the relationship, complete the appropriate tasks with her direct participation.

In addition, you can ask Varric to do one useful service, or rather, write a new edition of Swords and Shields, which will serve as part of the task (a gift for Cassandra). In addition, at one point she will tell you in Skyhold that your relationship cannot lead to anything, but do not despair and continue to put pressure on her. Soon she will still go to meet you.

Remember that if you have formed a relationship with Cassandra, then you will not be able to form a relationship with other characters. To start a relationship with another character, you have to first break up with Cassandra and then only start a new romance.

Solas

With Solas, only an elf girl can spin. Once you get a little rating with Solas, then upon arrival at Skyhold, just kiss him. Shortly after this point, he will ask you to release his spirit without any killing during the fight. If you do this, then you will raise your rating, if not, then the romance will end there.

If you managed to do everything successfully, then you and Solas will have a serious relationship. But for the final stage of the novel, you will have to complete the task.

Sulfur

Only a girl can spin with her, but of any race. There is a small exception with this character. There is a chance that the Qunari will be able to spin with it - it has a chance much more than humans and dwarves.

If you have any connections with other heroes, then you will have to end the relationship with the others and switch to her. How to complete all the indicated tasks, then you will have to make sure that all topics will be closed, after which you will reach the final moment.

Blackwall

Absolutely any girl can spin with him. This character is quite simple and straightforward in relationships that relate to flirting. You will be able to express all your feelings to him after you destroy the Vault, but he will inform you that now is not the best time for this. In order for him to eventually succumb to you, you must first complete all the tasks that concern him and at the same time increase his rating. Soon he will call you to the territory of the Storm Coast as a task for a gift.

After completing his own line, he will leave Skyhold Fortress, but the task will be completed. You will either send him to the Gray Wardens, or invite him to choose his own path. If he remains in the Inquisition, then you can reach the final in a relationship with him.

Iron Bull

This character will be available to absolutely everyone. You just need to flirt with him and in the end, you will find yourself in your chambers with him and get the opportunity to make love. After that, he will discuss some "rules" with you.

He will ask you to get a medallion, which is made from a dragon's tooth. Here you have to find a dragon, then kill it and make a medallion from the extracted resources.

Dorian

With Dorian, a man of any race can spin. You can lay the foundation in a relationship only when you complete its storyline. After that, all you have to do is talk to him about your interest in him and start spinning "shura-mura".

Soon Leliana will call you to her and talk about one task. You will have to leave Poncard alive, otherwise the relationship with Dorian will not go anywhere. After you complete the task, then talk to him already in Skyhold and then he will offer you to go to your chambers for the final moment. If you break up with him, then there will be no negative points in this.

Cullen

To start a relationship with Cullen, you need to be an elf girl or a human. If you want to spin with it, then you first have to cut off all existing ones. And remember that you cannot discuss "Lyrium" with him, because of him all relations are cut off. Even in the middle of a relationship, you can't do it.

Josephine

The only character that has no limits! The most liberal girl when it comes to romance. To start building a relationship with her, all you have to do is talk to her at Skyhold and start flirting a little. Move your relationship forward until Leliana asks you who you're interested in. After that, you can finally start your romance with Josephine.

dragon age: Inquisition is the latest in the epic fantasy roleplaying video game series by BioWare. One of the many great features of this game is the ability to certain party members of the game; this is somewhat of a tradition in the dragon age series.

This article describes how to romance one of the most popular female characters in the game, Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast.

Cassandra is only romancable as a male Inquisitor, though it doesn't matter which race or you choose.

Unlike most other characters in the game, Cassandra does not always react well to open flirtation (a hint is her reaction to some of "s seedy lines). Therefore, approaching her romantically can be a little more difficult than others.

Meeting Cassandra

Cassandra is with you from the very beginning of the game, so there is no quest to obtain her on your team (unlike certain party members such as or ). She appears from the start, interrogating you about a magical mark that has appeared on your hand, and questioning why you were the only one to survive a huge blast that created the deadly Breach, a portal to the world of demons.

Here, you are introduced to her passionate and tough nature, which made many players instantly fall for her.

Gaining Approval

It is easy to gain Approval points from Cassandra from early on in the game. When you follow her outside Haven to observe the Breach, respond to her questions by saying "If I can help, I will."

When you are attacked by demons, you will a weapon appropriate to see your character's fighting class. After defeating the monsters, Cassandra will command you to drop your weapons. Choose the option "All right, I'll disarm."

When asked how to approach the Breach, side with Cassandra by saying "I say we charge."

Selecting these three options gives Cassandra an excellent first impression of you.

Source

Other ways to gain Approval (in general) are:

  • Show her respect. Cassandra is a Seeker, a Warrior, and a passionate fighter.
  • Say you believe in the Maker. A few times, Cassandra will ask you about your religious beliefs. She trusts in the Chantry and is passionate about the Maker and Andraste, so select dialogue options that show you trust and believe in the Maker.
  • Reassure her. She may be tough, but she isn't without emotion. Sometimes she will feel guilty about her actions. Don't take her; tell her she did her best.
  • Ask for her opinion. Meeting certain characters, such as Belle in Val Royeaux and Ser Barris, sometimes prompts you to ask for Cassandra's input.

Approach Cassandra in Haven, and you"ll see her sparring alone. Flirt and say:

  • "You're impressive."
  • "You had cause."
  • "Yes."(When asked if you believe in the Maker. Bear in mind this cements your character as a believer.)

After you have traveled to the Hinterlands to meet Mother Giselle, approach Cassandra. She will ask you where you "re from. Select the following:

  • Tell her the truth.
  • "Home is where I am."

Speak to her again, and select the following:

  • The romance option "You"re delightful."

Ask Cassandra about herself, and she will talk about being a Seeker. Select the following for Approval:

  • "I agree with you."
  • "It does sound wonderful."

Choosing Between the Templars and the Mages

Your War Council and Cassandra will discuss whether to ally with the Mages or the Templars. You will have a dialogue option offering to suggest either, and another to say "we must decide soon". Choose the latter for Cassandra's Approval. This doesn't affect your decision later.

If you"d like a chance to greatly improve Cassandra"s Approval, choose to ally with the Templars. During the "Champions of the Just" quest, you"ll have many chances for Cassandra"s Approval rating to increase.

  • When asked to raise the flags in order of importance, raise Andraste's flag the highest.
  • When the Templars join with you, select the option "Rebuild as our partners." Cassandra will Greatly Approve.
  • Optional: when Cole appears back at Haven, Cassandra doesn't trust him. You must then choose between trusting Cole and inviting him to join the Inquisition, or banishing him. If you want to add Cole to your party, then you can. However , Cassandra will Slightly Disapprove. If you aren't bothered about having Cole in your party, select "He"s too dangerous. Kill him." Cassandra will Approve, but you will permanently lose the chance to gain Cole as an Ally.

Approval in Skyhold

You can "t romance Cassandra until after you have completed the quest "In Your Heart Shall Burn". Once at Skyhold, speak to Cassandra. This will open several conversations and sidequests in varying order. These include:

  • Cassandra's argument with Varric. When prompted to act, select "don't intervene"(however, this will sacrifice some of Varric's Approval), and afterwards, select the romance option "I still like you."
  • Cassandra "s soft spot for reading. Don" t tease her about it; say" nothing wrong with that" and go to Varric. Ask him to finish the sequel so you can give it to Cassandra as a gift. This will earn a big boost in Approval. You can later select the flirting option "So you"re a romantic?"
  • Her planning battle movements. She will talk to you about her hopes for the future. When she asks you what guides you, select the romance option "You guide me."
  • Cassandra's Inner Circle quest "Unfinished Business". Depending on how much of the world you have unlocked, this can be very time-consuming. You have to unlock inaccessible areas in the Exalted Plains and the Western Approach by completing the quests "Gain Access to Ghilan"nain"s Grove" and "The Trouble with Darkspawn," respectively.
  • Complete her personal quest "Promise of Destruction" by locating missing Seekers at the War Table.

Even in such inhuman conditions, there is a place for flirting, sex and even high feelings. If you plan not only to decide the fate of the world, but also to build close relationships with subordinates in parallel, then our guide will come in handy. With him, you will turn into the main heartthrob of Thedas in no time.

There are eight potential partners in Dragon Age: Inquisition: Cassandra, Blackwall, Josephine, Iron Bull, Sulfur, Dorian, Cullen, and Solas. Each of them has their own tastes: someone prefers heterosexual relationships, someone is ready to get close only to representatives of certain races, and for someone it doesn’t matter if the person/dwarf/elf/qunari is good.

In addition, the heroes of Inquisition have their own beliefs and unique personalities. Therefore, it is important not only to be courteous and flirt tirelessly, but also to ensure that your words and deeds coincide with the views of the target. Religious Cassandra will not tolerate blasphemy, Blackwall will condemn any injustice, and Josephine will be disappointed in you if you decide to neglect diplomacy in favor of a military campaign.

If you liked one of the characters, talk to him more often. This way you will learn more about the biography and views of the character, and at the same time you will be able to compliment him. All this will positively affect your relationship and open up new opportunities for romance.

Cassandra

Partner:

Important facts: religious, wholly and completely supports the Church. Believes the Inquisitor is indeed Andraste's Herald.

Severe, resolute and impenetrable - approximately such Cassandra seems at first glance. But only at first: later you will discover that the Seeker reacts quite adequately to compliments, loves poetry and even enjoys sentimental novels.

It's easy to develop a relationship with her. First, ask her to talk about her past. In further dialogues, do not miss the opportunity for flirting. Every time you return to the base, do not forget to visit it. The main thing is to be careful in matters of religion.

Blackwall

Partner:

Important facts: appreciates mercy and help to the suffering. Believes that any villain deserves a second chance.

Blackwall is Justice personified with a beard. Tries to make the world a better place and highly values people who share his beliefs. Does not like big companies, prefers to stay apart.

The shortest way to his heart is through good deeds. If you're used to playing good heroes, you'll earn Blackwall's trust very soon. As soon as your relationship starts to develop from friendly to romantic, he will pull away. Do not give up - very soon the Gray Warden will trust you completely and tell you his main secret.

Josephine

Partner:

Important facts: believes that diplomacy is the best way to resolve conflict.

Chief diplomat in the Inquisition. Josephine is responsible for the political influence of the organization and seeks to expand it. Appreciates etiquette and manners, behaves courteously with everyone, although alone with the hero he is quite relaxed.

To win the sympathy of Josephine, it is enough to listen to her advice. At some point, she will ask you to talk to her best friend, Leliana. In a conversation with the main spy of the Inquisition, it is better not to lie - especially when she asks about your relationship with Josephine.

iron bull

Partner: Inquisitor of any gender and race

Important facts: loves good fights and booze. Works on two fronts - with the Inquisition and Qunari intelligence. He does not hide it, because he appreciates honesty very much.

The iron bull gets the same pleasure from gatherings in the tavern, and from battles on the battlefield. This good-natured mercenary takes everything lightly - if not lightly. Nevertheless, for the sake of friends, he is ready to risk his life, which he will prove more than once.

At first, the Iron Bull almost does not respond to compliments and flirting, but over time this will change. Be sure to ask him about the Qunari race and their culture. On your way back to base, don't miss the opportunity to have a drink with Iron Bull and his team of mercenaries. And yes, be honest.

Sulfur

Partner: female inquisitor of any race

Important facts: cynical and confrontational. An atheist, he cannot stand stories about religion and the lost greatness of the elves. He treats people well with a sense of humor, loves practical jokes.

Gray is difficult. Constantly impudent, mocking party members, stealing and responding to compliments with sarcastic witticisms. But there is an approach to it too.

Do not try to somehow limit and control it, otherwise quarrels cannot be avoided. Do not be offended by her attacks, but rather turn everything into a joke. If she is in your party, then always take the side of the poor, orphans and other disadvantaged.

Last but not least, although Sera seeks to protect the oppressed, she is ruthless towards the villains. Therefore, he would rather approve the execution than imprisonment or pardon. Remember this when you pass judgment on defeated enemies.

Dorian

Partner: male inquisitor of any race

Important facts: proud and caustic. Can't stand it when his intellect and magical abilities are being questioned. Opposes the Tevinter Empire, from where he fled in his youth.

The magician Dorian almost always behaves arrogantly and distrustfully - at least with people he doesn't know well. He needs a partner with whom he could communicate on an equal footing. Therefore, in a conversation with him, do not hesitate to demonstrate your erudition and intelligence. In response, you can get a sarcastic remark, but you should not be rude in response - Dorian painfully perceives any criticism.

At the same time, the wizard tries to make the world a better place. He reacts sharply to any injustice, so you should not execute everyone indiscriminately and eat children. Dorian hates the Tevinter Empire and will appreciate it if you support him in this.

Cullen

Partner: elf woman or human woman

Important facts: trying to get rid of lyrium addiction. A supporter of the templars, not the mages.

Cullen is a former templar who is trying to return to normal life. He is at the head of the army of the Inquisition. Cullen is a soldier by nature, so he prefers military action to diplomatic negotiations.

Suffering from withdrawal symptoms after a long dependence on liria. His sore point is that because of this, he will someday let the Inquisitor down and be unable to fulfill his duty. Cullen will appreciate if you help him overcome his addiction and support the former templar in his decision to give up the lirium. Loyalty is very important for Cullen, so only heroes who are not related to other characters can start a romance with him.

Solas

Partner: elf woman

Important facts: inquisitive and respects the thirst for knowledge. He believes that there is no absolute evil or good, sees the world in gray tones. Sometimes it seems that he loves spirits and other otherworldly entities more than people.

Elf is a loner, a great expert in magic, history and mythology. He seeks to further expand his knowledge of the ancient world and treats well the people who help him in this.

Solas' approval is easy to get if you try to squeeze as much information out of the dialogue as possible. Ask him to talk about travel, magic, the Veil and the history of the elves. Give up categorical judgments about good and evil, because Solas believes that there is a place for sin and virtue everywhere. And most importantly - do not offend the spirits. He will not forgive this.

Biography

Cassandra was born into the Pentaghast family, famous for slaying dragons. Pentaghasts are related to the ruling elite of Nevarra, they are known and famous. Cassandra herself is 79th in line for the throne, which excludes her from the fight, but gives her a special charm. Cassandra is not at all like a princess and is not interested in palace life. Perhaps due to the fact that her parents once chose the wrong side and were executed for treason. She herself and her brother Anthony were spared - the children, and even the family.

They grew up in Nevarra with an uncle. Kassandra did not retain particularly warm memories. Uncle, although he was a good person, knew much more about communicating with the dead than with the living. His respected profession of Mortalitasi, the magician of death, who properly mummified the remains, disposed of this. The children were bored in his house, and proper upbringing and training only exacerbated the boredom. Cassandra remembers Nevarre as a golden cage, and once again does not look home. Cassandra had no talent for a relaxed and luxurious life, but with a sword in her hands she felt great.

Birth of the Seeker

You can learn about Cassandra's youth from the anime Age of the Dragon: Birth of a Seeker / [dragon age: Dawn of the Seeker]. Her family was approached by apostates. The ritual required the blood of a dragon. The Pentaghasts refused to participate in dubious activities, so the magicians tried to force them. The estate was burned, and the brother and uncle died in front of Cassandra (the oblique magician chopped off Anthony's head on the run oO).

Little sad Cassie in a dress

Mages Cassandra hated and decided to join the order of the templars. Mind, perseverance and indomitability distinguished Kassandra, so she was invited to join the Seekers of Truth. In addition to separate training, Seekers undergo a complex initiation. For a whole year they are cleansed, refusing worldly temptations and communication with people. This period helps the Seekers clear their minds, because after that they will have to investigate the most important events affecting the church, including in the order of the templars.

One such investigation is recounted in Birth of a Seeker. The story seemed to be retold by Varric - Cassanda in full armor (but with a skirt) jumps like a Gaul and crushes dozens of evil blood mages into cabbage. Chronologically, the events of the anime occur according to different signs - between Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition or ten years before the Fifth Blight.

Cassandra in the anime is obviously much younger and more exuberant, and there is no scar on her cheek, so you have to turn a blind eye to the references to Kirkwall.

So, Avexis, a girl magician of elven origin, disappears from the Circle. Through his channels, Seeker Byron learns that she has been kidnapped by bloodbenders for a ritual. A group of Seekers goes on the trail and interrupts the renegades. Cassandra successfully exterminates about thirty magicians and kills the first dragon in this anime. Avexis manages to be saved, and the detachment returns to the Church with victory.

A tried and tested way to get to know more from the 9:22 Dragon Age

It's time to return the girl to the Circle, but for some reason the transfer is delayed. Byron suspects betrayal within the Church itself and steals Avexis. He hoped to transfer the girl to safe hands outside the order. Cassandra accidentally gets involved in an adventure, and goes with a mentor into the forest to a meeting place with the "right people".

A girl valuable to the renegades goes missing with two Seekers? Traitors! Byron and Cassandra are being chased. At the same time, they are attacked by a group of magicians in the forest. Because of the ardor of Cassandra, Byron dies, and Avexis is again kidnapped by magicians. Only after that, finally, a friend outside the order appears - the mage of the Regalian Circle. Cassandra greets him suspiciously, but there is no time for persuasion: the templars cover both of them over Byron's corpse. Fearing traitors among their own, Cassandra and Regalian flee. First, to one of the Circle's shelters, and from there the trail will take them to the elf informant. Alas, they were already expected. Kassandra fights alone against a horde of golems and ogres and manages to kill a couple before she is wounded. Regalian uses a diversion and they run again.

With a wounded Cassandra, you can't run a race with apostates and templars. Lord Commander Martel's squad is suspiciously quick to catch up to them time after time. The Seeker decides to lie in wait for the order in the cave and overhear Martel communicating with the renegade through an elf stone. The traitor is found, and Cassandra hurries to the Chief Seeker, ready to face his judgment. But it was not possible to get ahead of the Lord Commander for a long time. He kills the Chief Seeker with Cassandra's sword. All the evidence against her: she ran away from Avexis, contacted the magicians, the murder weapon just screams. Together with Regalian, she is thrown into a dungeon.

AT best traditions genre villain comes to show off. Promising a quick meeting with relatives in heaven, Martel reveals some details of his plan. It is time for change in the Church. Someone from the inner circle is aiming for the place of the High Priestess, the apostates are planning to destroy the Circles, and the commander is ready to help them with this. Avexis has the power to command animals, and after the ritual, dragons fell under her power. With their help, at the meeting of the decade, the High Priestess and potential pretenders will be killed. Cassandra demands the traitor's name, but Martel just laughs.

Aunt Cassandra will ruin everything now

While people flock to the square, waiting for the appearance of the Supreme, Cassandra prepares for her execution. Salvation comes unexpectedly in the form of Regalian's comrades from the Circle. Apparently, they were released to beat the neighboring templars a little. Either way, Cassandra wins and executes Martel. At this time, the dragons attack the Priestess and break the castle. Only Pentaghasts can stop this madness! Alone, the Seeker kills three high dragons and saves the situation, the city, and the High Priestess.

No, this is not a wedding.

For valor and exceptional qualities, the Supreme rewards Regalian and Cassandra with the titles of Heroes of Orlais, and the Seeker becomes her right hand. Now Cassandra conducts all investigations by the personal decree of the High Priestess.

Nice detail: Regalian at the first meeting calls Cassandra a beautiful lady and does not hesitate to admire her further. In addition, the anime itself is traditionally full of scenes with accidental touches and successful falls. Like this: the mage and the Seeker are rolling down the hill, and suddenly the mage is on Cassandra, they look into each other's eyes, suddenly embarrassed. The Seeker wriggles around, and now she's pinning Regalian to the ground. The magician asks with interest "Do you love from above?", And gets punched in the face. Very dramatic.

Before going to the High Priestess, a contented Regalian once again admires Cassandra. In response, she kisses him on the cheek. There will be no further details in the anime, but the Seeker is later able to reveal to the Inquisitor that they had an affair. Alas, Regalian died at the Conclave in 9:41 Dragon along with High Priestess Justinia and other heads of mages and templars.

Dragon Age 2

With each passing year, the atmosphere between the templars and mages became more and more tense. The best of the best were sent to investigate the collisions. Events in Kirkwall and mage riots around the world have pushed the High Priestess Justinia. She instructs her first assistants - Leliana and Cassandra to restore the ancient Inquisition and gives them the code. At the same time, it is necessary to find the instigators of the conflict.

So Cassandra went to investigate the church bombing in Kirkwall. Hawk, as the famous Defender, inevitably comes into view. The Seeker investigates the Hawks' family circumstances, their Fereldan origins and dubious acquaintances. Initially, she assumes that there was an organized attack on the Church, but she can not determine the motives of the perpetrators (except for Anders), and why such a motley company could even be together.

Doubts are resolved by Varrik, who was not secretive enough. The Order finds him and takes him to the Seeker for questioning. With jokes, jokes, threats and daggers, Varric tells the incredible story of Hawke's adventure. Given the amount of ancient magic and dragons, Cassandra is initially skeptical of his story, but gradually changes her mind. In any case, Varrick's version sounds quite coherent and consistent.

Believing the gnome's story, the Seeker decides that Hawke is needed by the newly-minted Inquisition. Varric does not know how to contact Hawke, he disappeared without a trace. At the same time, Leliana can't find a trace of the Hero of Ferelden. Coincidence?

Here is the chance for a new one happy world, but during the Conclave there is a monstrous explosion. All participants die, and a Breach opens in the sky. The veil of Shadow is torn, and hundreds of portals let demons into our world.

At the same time, the Church, magicians and templars are beheaded, and real chaos begins around the world. People are scared, there is no escape, The gap is growing. Friend or foe?

Without making hasty decisions and without rejecting anyone's help, Cassandra tried to study the survivor and the mysterious mark on her arm. She was obviously connected to the Breach - she grew with her and pulsed in sync. Until the survivor's guilt or innocence is proven, Cassandra treats them like a suspect. The elven mage who came to the rescue opens the possibility of closing the gaps in the Veil with the help of a mark and indicates that this is how the Breach is closed. For Cassandra, this connection means that the survivor's life will be intertwined with the Inquisition in any case until the Breach is closed.

Inquisition

Cassndra becomes our first companion and follows to the very end. Confident in the cause of the Inquisition, she defends its right to exist. Because of the past rumor that the new Inquisitor is the Herald of Andraste, the Church is in a hurry to accuse everyone of heresy, but Cassandra is unshakable. Let it be outside the bosom of the Church, but it will close the Gap.

The Seeker herself is not gullible and is in no hurry to worship the newly appeared Herald. On the other hand, in addition to the ability to close the gaps, the Inquisitor has the intelligence, confidence and charisma enough to inspire and lead. After the dramatic events in the Sanctuary, the Inquisitor once again survives against all odds and leads people to a new home. Then Cassandra realizes that here he is - a real leader. Other councilors agree with her, and the Inquisitor is elected head.

Now her job is to help the Inquisitor in all endeavors. Let not all decisions suit Cassandra, the main thing is that order is restored step by step. The only one who really pisses off Cassandra is Varric. It turns out that she took her word for nothing. The gnome knew where Hawk was all this time, he just hid it. Such a miscalculation is unacceptable for the Seeker of Truth, and Cassandra takes the failure hard.

After the victory of the Inquisition, Cassandra may become a new high priestess under the name of Victoria and engage in the restoration and reformation of the Order of the Templars. Or, according to the player's decision, she can remain in the Inquisition and then she will have to revise the Order of the Seekers (more on this below, in a personal task).

Tasks

unfinished business
After the Inquisition was relatively formed, Cassandra decided to approach the Inquisitor with a request. As a Seeker of Truth, she has unfinished business, the most urgent of which is the search for blood mages and fugitive templars. These people are a danger to civilians, and the Inquisitor may agree to exterminate them. Unfortunately, the rest of the members of the Order have disappeared, so there is no one else to take on.

List of fugitives:

Leo of Lucien Bay in the Western Reach

Gordon the Artless at the Emprise du Lyon

Zhepler Volny in the Emerald Graves

Sir Rebanger Thorn in the Hinterlands

    Hildebrandt on the Sacred Plain

All targets are highlighted on the map so don't miss them. Everyone has a small retinue of 2-4 fighters, and the level is proportional to the level of the location.

Vow of Destruction
(The quest opens up a lot for Cassandra, so I'll retell it in detail as part of the plot)

After a confrontation with the Corypheus, it is revealed that the Lord Seeker was a demon in the proper guise. Thus, since the days of the Conclave, nothing has been heard from the Seekers at all. Perhaps they were captured by the enemy? Or just interrupted? Seekers don't take lyrium, so it's not easy to infect them. After completing the "Unfinished Business" quest, Cassandra asks to investigate the disappearance of allies.

An operation will open on the table - you can use any adviser, the traces will lead to the Caer Ousvik castle.

Now, with the help of the world map, you can go on a rescue operation. Cassandra is perplexed, because the castle belongs to a quite decent lord, but everything quickly falls into place. The castle is full of Obetniks - members of an ancient sect who consider themselves to be true Seekers. They have been hunting for the Order for just as long. Time after time the sect was destroyed, but it returned again.

Carefully search the fallen opponents - you will need to find two keys on them. I had to reboot three times, because in the narrow corridors, the prey fell into hard-to-reach places, such as under the textures.

In the courtyard you will find a letter in which you learn that the Seekers were resistant to red lyrium, so the Corypheus hands them over to the promises. But why?

In the inner room we find Daniel, a former student of Cassandra. He is in a very bad condition, looks like a fel-infected one. According to him, they tried to raise a demon in him, feeding ... everything. Lord Seeker Lucius betrayed his charges by sending one by one to Ouswick on an "important mission" and then allowed the demon of envy to take his place.

Then we meet Lucius himself. He doesn't seem to be on his own. He recalls that the order was closely associated with the first Inquisition and everything they created turned out to be imperfect. The church, the templars, the mage circle, everything needs a makeover. He gives Cassandra a book with the history of the order, promising that she will understand everything herself. Regrets in his speech are mixed with crazy dreams of a new world under the command of Corypheus. Cassandra refuses to join him, so you're in for a fight. You can return to Skyhold.

Talk to Cassandra. She appears to be overwhelmed by new information about the order. It turns out that the pacification ritual was developed by the order, and during the annual initiation, the Seekers are pacified. Importantly, the order also knows how to reverse Humility. It seems that this information initially pushed the magicians to rebellion. Mission completed.

Almost immediately after arriving at Skyhold, Cassandra can be caught reading... adult literature. What's more, it's a romance novel by Varrick. The dwarf himself, by the way, considers the series unsuccessful and is not going to continue.

But the Seeker is delighted with the novel. He breaks off at the most interesting place, and she really wants to know the continuation. You are the Inquisitor! You can get Varrick to write a new part.

If you agree to help Cassandra, just look for the gnome. He was not going to finish the draft, but for the sake of handing it to Cassandra personally...

Talk to Cassandra - the task is completed, and as a reward you get a hilarious scene.

Romance with Cassandra

Both sexes can flirt with Cassandra while still in the Sanctuary. Since it's mostly admiration for her strength, she takes flirting quite favorably. Any further development is possible only in Skyhold. Despite the brutal appearance and the resulting assumptions, Cassandra is only interested in men, options for trying to translate the relationship into new level the female character will not appear.

The progression of the novel is influenced by completing her personal quests, approval level, and story missions. If Cassandra does not want to talk to you about love in any way, do not despair. As long as you don't personally poke at the dialogue option followed by the words "Break Romance with Cassandra", you're in the game. If you missed a few points of flirting - it's okay, but you still need to flirt. You will have a great chance to hold hands cutely in the scene where the Seeker doubts her choice of path.

After enough flirting (and possibly after completing the "Vow of Destruction" quest), a cut-scene will play where Cassandra asks you if you're really courting her or if she thought she was. If you insist on your serious intentions, you will have a decisive choice - to start an affair with the Seeker or give up this thought. If you are sure, then another task awaits you.

The perfect date
Maybe you did not expect this from a die-hard swordswoman, but the soul asks for romance. If you do not see her tender nature through a harsh shell, then maybe you are not her destiny? Ah, see? Then provide romance. Cassandra is from royalty, after all. She needs a romantic evening with candles and poetry.

Candles and flowers can be found in Val Royeaux, they specialize in this. But a good collection of poems is found only in Radcliffe. We need a gnome merchant on the northern dock. Talk to him without Cassandra in the group and he will tell you where to look for the book. You can also immediately kill the bandits who stole it. Go to the southwestern camp of the Inquisition and from there go north.

Got it? Go to Cassandra, she is waiting for you.

But what now?

Cassandra is known for her short temper. The training and initiation of the Seekers has taught her a lot, but at times her rage overflows. On the other hand, assertiveness makes Cassandra an exemplary Seeker. While others hesitate, she makes a decision and executes it. The Seeker prefers to regret mistakes rather than missed opportunities. Surprisingly, Cassandra is ready to admit her mistakes and obey orders. After the election of the head of the Inquisition, she does not challenge his decisions, even if she herself does not agree with them. Time will tell who is right, but for now, the deed must be done.

Cassandra is true to her beliefs. She does not spread the Song of Light, like other missionaries, and does not expect piety from others, but faith in the Creator and his wisdom does not leave her. She considers herself obligated to stand in the way of chaos and darkness, even if for this she has to leave the Church. A straightforward and honest warrior does not follow the Inquisitor as an obedient sheep, but she does not dispute orders either. She knows that no one but us will save the world, and we have to make difficult decisions.

For the sake of a just cause, Cassandra will not back down. Without fear, she is ready to look into the face of death, into the teeth of a dragon, and even into the dark past of her order. The ideal right hand is loyal, firm, confident and strong. What she lacks in imagination, she makes up for in care and scrupulousness. Cassandra does not seek personal gain, only Truth and Justice.

The Seeker hides the soft sides of her character. He does not carefully hide, but rather forgets about them: deeds, blood magicians, saving the world. Cassandra is not devoid of sympathy and does not forget that she fights for the people. In addition, she is characterized by some sentimentality, which she is ashamed of. Seeker is not indifferent to Varric's romance novels (perhaps this is due to Aveline on the cover - that iron lady) and is no stranger to romance.

As a character, Cassandra turned out to be versatile and convincing. Somewhat idealized, but without caricature excesses.
