MCC map of stations travel time. Everything you need to know about the Moscow Central Circle

We have built for you
additional time

The Moscow Central Ring is part of the transport system of the future capital.
It gives the city an alternative to choosing new routes, reduces the load on the metro and train stations in the city center, and makes a trip around Moscow an average of 20 minutes shorter.

About the MCC project

The city train is a new type of public transport that appeared in the capital on September 10, 2016 with the opening of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC).

Trains of the new generation "Lastochka" run along the railway ring in the mode of operation of the subway. You won’t have to wait more than 6 minutes for an electric train during peak hours, and you can transfer to the metro for free - the MCC has a single ticket with the metro.

Creating a unique transport system, Moscow integrated the MCC into the city's existing transport network and, most importantly, into the Moscow metro system. The MCC became the ground ring line of the capital's subway.
You can pay for a ticket at the box office at any MCC station with a bank card.
In the future, it is planned to introduce modern technologies fare payment: NFC (fare payment using a mobile phone), Pay Pass / Pay Wave (contactless payment with a bank card).

"Without the sound of wheels"

Fast "Swallows" reach speeds of up to 160 km / h, but at the same time they do not cause "noisy inconvenience" to the townspeople.

All electrified rolling stock is noticeably quieter than diesel locomotives and meets modern environmental requirements.

Protective screens protect citizens from excessive noise
and the so-called "velvet path" - without the sound of wheels.

This technology provides for the laying of railway tracks using special technology in separate 800-meter sections.

Why will the city train become a popular mode of transport for Muscovites?

A trip along the MCC is many times more comfortable than in the metro. In addition, the interval of train traffic will soon be reduced to four minutes during peak hours and to eight minutes at other times.

New generation urban electric trains are equipped with

Security at the MCC

Rail transport traditionally remains one of the most dangerous all over the world. However, emergencies do not occur with trains, but with inattentive passengers who go onto the rails in prohibited places.
A fence has been installed along the entire perimeter of the MCC, which will prevent unauthorized access to the railway track.

The total length of the fence was 108 km

Part of the fence (16 km) is noise barriers, which were installed within the boundaries of residential development.

Free pass
- Doesn't mean out of control

All transport security measures applied in the metro and on the railway are being implemented on the Moscow Central Circle. For example, profiling will also be carried out here.

Profiling

This method evaluates and predicts human behavior based on the analysis of the characteristics of appearance, non-verbal and verbal behavior.
There will also be a traditional screening like in the subway. Increased passenger protection will be provided through a modern system of turnstiles, detector frames and video surveillance, as well as through the creation of a separate police unit.

Transport hubs

It will be possible to change one type of transport to another in a matter of minutes with the help of transport interchange hubs (TPU). They consist of terminals with ticket offices and turnstiles, as well as a system of covered pedestrian galleries - overhead and underground passages that will protect passengers from bad weather.

All stations provide transfer to public transport

buses, trams, trolleybuses and autolines

Passengers do not even have to go outside, so this type of transfer is called the principle of " dry feet».

Now ground urban transport brings citizens directly to the stations of the ring

In the future, transport hubs will become multifunctional: they will include offices, shopping malls, shops and cafes. Investors will invest in the construction of the commercial part, the city is building only the technological part of the hub, which performs a transport function, using funds from the Moscow budget. This concept meets the interests of investors, who need to recoup their investments in construction, and the needs of citizens who can find work or receive the necessary services close to their homes.

In the future, some long-distance trains will be able to drop off passengers before reaching the station. Using the MCC, people will be able to save their time, stations in the center of Moscow will become freer.

For 90 years, the district railway was used for the delivery of goods.

The necessary load in the days of the USSR was given to it by municipal and industrial enterprises located around. But gradually production fell into decline, and today these sites are at best used for warehouses, and more often they are simply idle.

The MCC is a unique project not only in terms of developing transport infrastructure, but also in terms of creating new jobs.

After the introduction of new real estate in the area of MCC stations, about 40 thousand places of employment will be created.

Investors have already expressed their readiness to invest in the development of areas around 11 MCC stations. Among them:

Attracting private investment will allow Moscow to save budget money and direct it to the development of social and transport infrastructure in other areas of the city.

Former industrial zones will turn into new urban areas

Around the ring, according to the calculations of the General Plan Institute, the following can be built:

750 thousand sq. m of commercial real estate.
Of them 300 thousand "squares"- hotels,
250 thousand - trading floors,
200 thousand - new offices and technology parks.

Moscow has the right to expect that developers will be interested in investing in real estate construction, because after the launch of the MCC, the cost of land around will increase significantly. The former industrial zones around the MCC fell into disrepair: these territories required an integrated approach. And putting in order the lands around the railway ring became the largest urban improvement project in 2016. Every day, 25.9 thousand people were involved in the improvement of the MCC in the summer of 2016. At the same time, the work was not aimed only at improving the appearance of the stations; the task was also to create convenient pedestrian links between the MCC and stops of surface urban transport.

  • 2,800 trees were planted at the MCC.
  • Updated facades 111
  • industrial buildings,
  • 131 residential buildings.
  • At 22 architectural
  • outstanding buildings
  • and facilities

The first passengers drove along the district on September 10, 2016. On the eve of this event, the road was given a new name - the Moscow Central Ring (MCC).

MCC - Moscow Central Ring.

Opening September 10, 2016!

The Small Ring of the Moscow Railway (MKZhD) is more than a hundred years old. Previously, passenger trains ran along it, but over time, the bulk of traffic was the transportation of goods. The ring served industrial zones, many of which eventually fell into disrepair and were used as warehouses at best.Now these territories are being reorganized: housing, sports complexes, and social facilities are being built here. Developing industrial zones need good transport links. On the rails, where only freight trains used to go, in 10 years up to 300 million people a year will be able to go. However, the city does not refuse cargo transportation along the Moscow Ring Railway: freight trains will run along the tracks at night. For cargo traffic, additional tracks are being laid with a length of about 30 kilometers.

OPENING OF THE MOSCOW CENTRAL RING (MCC)

COST OF TRAVEL TO THE MCC

During the 1st month of the MCC operation, travel along the Moscow Central Ring will be free. After the end of the starting month of work, one trip around the MCC will cost 50 rubles, two - 100 rubles, no more than 40 trips - 1300 rubles, no more than 60 - 1570 rubles. A travel ticket without a travel limit will cost passengers 210 rubles for a day, 400 rubles for three days, and 800 rubles for seven days.

O It will be possible to pay for trips using city tickets, such as Troika and United. Passengers will not have to pay twice: transfers from the Moscow Ring Road to the metro will be free for an hour and a half. This time should be enough to go down to the subway, and not necessarily to the nearest station.Beneficiaries will retain the right to free travel around the ring. They will be able to use the social card of a Muscovite. Students and other students will be able to travel along the Moscow Ring Road with preferential metro cards.

TRAVEL TIME

During peak hours, trains will run every six minutes, the rest of the time - at intervals of 11-15 minutes. It will be possible to drive a full circle along the Moscow Ring Road in an hour and a quarter. The new transport circuit will make the trip around the capital an average of 20 minutes shorter.According to preliminary calculations, the travel time between stations will be from 1.6 to 4.2 minutes.The transfer will take a matter of minutes, and 11 stations will be organized according to the “dry feet” principle. This means that you will not have to go outside from the stations. The system of covered passages and galleries will protect pedestrians from rain, snow, and cold. And four stations will have glass walls and roofs so that the lobbies have natural light.

INTERCEPTION PARKING

Motorists will be able to leave their cars at the park-and-ride parking lots at TPU 13 and transfer to public transport. For people with limited mobility, elevators, escalators, lifts, and tactile tiles will be installed.

The main thing to be done at the second stage of the development of the subway is to build a new circle line - the Third interchange circuit. Its length will be 42 km. Total n planned to open bover 160 km of new stations.

By 2020, the workload of the metropolitan metro should be almost halved (By 2020, the metropolitan metro will increase by 78 stations):

"“We believe that this additional circuit will allow us to unload the existing lines,” sums up M. Khusnullin. Passengers will not have to travel to the city center to switch to another line.

Among other things, it is through the new ring that the subway is planned to be connected to the Moscow Ring Railway. The main transfer hubs will be Khoroshevskaya and Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa stations. At the same time, underground and surface trains will run according to an agreed schedule.

“By building the Third Interchange Circuit, we have the opportunity to “string” on it additional stations that will be needed during the development of new territories,” explains M. Khusnullin. - As soon as we start developing a new territory, the entire infrastructure will already be prepared.

Ultimately, due to the creation of new underground routes, the congestion of the metropolitan metro should be almost halved. If now, during peak hours, up to 8 people per 1 sq. m, then to 2020 the metro will reach the standard load - about 4.5 people per "square"".

After the construction of the second circle line:

  • instead of the current 40 minutes it takes to get from Yugo-Zapadnaya station to Kuntsevskaya using the second ring, you will get there in just 10 minutes!
  • now the journey from Kaluzhskaya to Sevastopolskaya takes 35 minutes, and will be only 3 minutes;
  • a trip from Sokolniki to Elektrozavodskaya instead of 22 minutes will take only 3 minutes;
  • the route from "Kashirskaya" to "Tekstilshchikov" takes 30 minutes, and will be - 2 minutes;
  • the travel time from Rizhskaya to Aviamotornaya is still 20 minutes, and with the opening of the TPK it will be exactly halved!

Helpful information

No matter how trite it may sound, but the pace of human life is accelerating day by day. A person is constantly in a hurry somewhere: to work, to school, to university. In addition to the proper organization of time, a well-coordinated transport system helps to manage to do all the things. One of its parts is the MCC or the Moscow Central Ring.

History and scheme of the MCC

In the past, the ring had a different name - the Moscow District Railway. The first mention of it dates back to the end of the 19th century, the time when the industrial boom was actively developing. Then the goods were transported with the help of dray cabs. The process required a large number strength and time. That is why the magnate F. I. Chizhov proposed the idea of building a ring road. On the one hand, she was just the way. On the other hand, a number of problems arose.

As it turned out, the state owns only 5% of all railways. All others are private property. Each has its own rules and rates. It took a lot of time to resolve this issue. But by the end of the 19th century, most of the roads still became public.

The order to build the Moscow Ring Railway was given by Emperor Nicholas II on November 7, 1897. The commencement ceremony took place on August 3, 1903.

Moscow MCC map those times included several objects:

  • 22 branches connecting with main railway lines;
  • 14 stations;
  • 2 stopping points;
  • 3 telegraph posts;
  • 72 bridges, including those that go across the Moscow River;
  • 30 viaducts;
  • 185 culverts;
  • 19 buildings for passengers;
  • 30 houses;
  • 2 houses for employees;
  • 2 baths;
  • 2 receptions.

The work was carried out under the supervision of the best Russian engineers and architects. These include N. A. Belelyubsky, L. D. Proskuryakov, A. N. Pomerantsev.

Now map of MCC stations looks like that:

  • 31 stations;
  • 17 stations for transfers to other metro lines;
  • 10 stations for changing trains.

More than 200,000,000,000 rubles were spent on the construction of the structure. The total length of the roads is 54 km. The round trip will take 84 minutes. Each train running between stations can carry 1,200 passengers.

Moscow metro map with MCC, trips and statistics

In fact, the MCC is part of the Moscow Metro. In the documents, it is designated as the Second Ring Line of the Metro. This transport system is inextricably linked with it by the form of fare payment and transfers. On metro maps, routes are indicated by a white line with a red border. Each of them has the MCC signature and serial number.

Transportation is carried out by more than three dozen Lastochka trains. Each of them can accommodate 1,200 people. The maximum speed reaches 120 km / h, however, the working speed will remain at the level of 40-50 km / h. The train interval varies from 5 to 15 minutes. It all depends on the time of day. During rush hour they will travel more often.

All Lastochkas are equipped with soft seats and climate control systems. Passengers have the opportunity to connect WI-FI and even charge their gadgets.

Trains do not have vestibules. However, their wide double doors make it easy to transport passengers with limited mobility.

MCC has a lot of features and nuances. The figures below will help you see how ambitious the idea for its construction was.

  1. The ring road, which later became the MCC, was built 111 years ago.
  2. 130 pairs of trains pass here per day.
  3. To establish regular traffic, the state had to spend more than 70 billion rubles.
  4. Thanks to the work of the MCC, the metro line Koltsevaya is unloaded by 15%.
  5. In the first year, the Lastochka transported 75 million people.
  6. The MCC provided citizens with 40,000 jobs.
  7. There are car parks near most of the stations.
  8. According to the plan, the trains will be able to transport more than 300,000,000 people per year.

Thanks to the ring, it poured down significantly to relieve urban transport.

So, the MCC is a good alternative to cars. This is the absence of traffic jams, the affordable cost of the trip and the ability to be punctual. Metro map with MCC will show how and at which station you can transfer to the train of the desired direction, and the availability of parking lots and a convenient transition to the station will save both time and effort.

Many Muscovites and guests of the capital have already become accustomed to the convenience of the MCC (Moscow Central Ring) or, as it was previously called the Moscow Ring Railway, the opening of which contributed to the unloading of the Moscow Ring Line of the Moscow Metro in particular and the entire metro as a whole.

MCC scheme with transfers to the metro, trains and suburban transport

Another popular MCC scheme with transfers to the metro, trains and other suburban transport will be useful for passengers who travel by trains, transfer to the MCC from the metro or minibuses. The diagram shows metro stations, Russian Railways stations and MCC stations along with transitions to them.

We draw your attention to the distance of a number of MCC stations from the metro. For example, from the Nagatinskaya metro station to the MCC station, the top fields of Yandex maps show 4 km, despite the fact that the map in the metro indicates 10-12 minutes on foot.

Schemes and maps during construction (projects) with interchange nodes:

Numerous queries in the search can be addressed to the only official website of the MKZD http://mkzd.ru/

According to preliminary sketches, it was assumed that the Moscow Ring Road on the map would look like this:

Hours and schedule of the MCC

MCC works on the same graphics, as the Moscow metro:

from 5:30 am to 01:00 am

List of MCC (MKZHD) stations:

There will be 31 stations in total. It is assumed that the rolling stock will be represented by Lastochka trains, which have proven themselves well on intercity routes and, for sure, will be convenient for such local transportation.

The opening of the Moscow Ring Road is scheduled for the end of 2016, testing is planned to begin in July 2016, so we are waiting for new information and will be updated as it becomes available.

Information about MCC:

What is the length of the MCC in km?

The Small Ring of the Moscow Railway, along which the movement of MCC trains is organized, has a length of 54 km.

How long does it take for a train to make a full circle around the MCC?

You can drive a full circle around the MCC in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The same answer will be given to other questions, like: MCC lap in time

What is MCC?

The MCC is the Moscow Central Ring and this entire article describes this object of Moscow in all forms and angles, including the history of its creation.

Calculation of time between MCC stations

Because the calculator is not yet written and ready, an easy way to calculate the travel time between stations is the following 90 minutes / 31 stations = about 3 minutes an approximate calculation of the time from station to station.

What are the intervals of trains on the MCC

Intervals between MCC trains are no more than 6 minutes during peak hours, which is generally not bad, especially at traditionally problematic and overloaded stations. For example, near the City, where on the days of exhibitions at the Expocentre you are taken out of the subway.

Also asked:

1. When will the MKZD open passenger traffic?

According to the official website, testing will begin in July 2016, and the opening date is scheduled for the end of 2016.

4. What are the fares for the MCC (MKZHD)?
According to information on the website of the Moscow City Hall, fares will be the same as for the metro:
"90 minutes", "Single" and the card "Troika".
"Single" for 20 trips - 650 rubles, for 40 trips - 1300 rubles, for 60 trips - 1570 rubles.
Using the Troika card, travel along the MCC will cost 32 rubles, as in the metro.
A ticket for 1 and 2 is also equated to the price of a metro ticket - 50 and 100 rubles, respectively.

10.09.2016
The opening of the MCC took place:
26 out of 31 stations of the ring are operating. Sokolinaya Gora, Dubrovka, Zorge, Panfilovskaya and Koptevo stations will be opened later (until the end of 2016).
Trains "Lastochka" run during peak hours with an interval of 6 minutes, the rest of the time - 12 minutes. The fare payment system is integrated with the Moscow Metro and allows you to transfer from the metro to the MCC trains and back without additional payment. In the first month of the ring's operation (through October 10), travel by MCC trains is free. According to rasp.yandex.ru

The history of the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway is more than a hundred years old. Back in 1908, the ring road was opened for cargo transportation in 9 directions of the Moscow and 1 direction of the Oktyabrskaya railways. In 2012, the ring had 12 active stations.

Now the Moscow Ring Railway is a “light metro” under construction, a new surface mode of transport integrated into the general metropolitan system and allowing passengers to make convenient transfers to buses and trams, metro and electric trains.

The opening of reconstructed tracks is not far off, so it's time to tell Muscovites and guests of our city in more detail about their advantages.

Latest news about MKZD

  • At a meeting in mid-April 2016, Vladimir Putin was informed that the first Moscow Ring Railway trains would be launched as early as September 2016. Further work on the construction of the small ring will be concentrated in transfer points.

Construction plan and when will it open

The reconstruction of the Small Ring, which will result in high-speed passenger traffic, began in 2011. Previously, it was planned to launch light metro traffic in four stages. Traffic on the section of the first stage Presnya - Kanatchikovo was going to be launched at the end of 2014, and on the section of the second, third and fourth stages Presnya - Lefortovo - Kanatchikovo - at the end of 2015.

Nevertheless, it was decided not to rush and launch the ring at full readiness - the project is too complex and large-scale.

In December 2015, the Moscow Ring Railway trains were supposed to depart in test mode, but as of Q3 2015, the work was completed by 70%.

It is expected that no earlier than autumn 2016, full-fledged passenger transportation will be established on the Small Ring.

Moscow Ring Road and World Cup 2018

Some time ago, information was announced that the Moscow Ring Road would be reconstructed for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. But now, according to the assurance of responsible persons, the movement along it will be launched in the fall of 2016.

Fares on the Moscow Ring Railway and train intervals

The fare on the Small Ring will be the same as in the subway. The same tariffs and travel cards will apply here, which, you see, is very convenient for passengers.

Light metro trains will run every 6 minutes.
  • The Moscow Ring Road is called the "road of the future". Thanks to it, the “deserted” industrial zones of the capital will gain a second wind and will be covered in a busy transport ring.
  • The Small Ring will link the landscape estates of Moscow, which is also very convenient for its guests and residents. We are talking about the Sparrow Hills, the estates of Mikhailovo and Streshnevo, the Botanical Garden, VDNKh, the Losiny Ostrov National Park.
  • Trains on the MKZHD will be able to accelerate to 120 km/h, so that the passage "with the breeze" is provided. The cabin provides free Wi-Fi, sockets for phones and other gadgets, climate control system.
  • The tracks of the Moscow Ring Railway are now called “velvet” – Muscovites will not hear the sound of wheels, and special screens will protect them from excess noise.

Official website of the MKZD

The largest city in Europe - Moscow - is growing and developing year by year. It's great that in our time one can observe such positive changes as an increase in the number of modern high-quality roads, metro stations and a fundamentally new type of transport that combines the speed and accessibility of the "underground" with the ability to transfer to buses, trams, trolleybuses. We are sure that the Small Ring Railway and its trains will quickly gain popularity among the residents of the capital, like no one who values time.
