In a previous post, I talked about how I stopped liking myself, that I decided to change. But I didn't give a date. The term for changes is 30 days.
Today, the day I decided to change, I tried to make a plan. I wrote my cons, but when I tried to write a solution to one problem, I realized that it was essentially impossible to solve it. Then I searched the Internet for articles on the topic of changes in myself. And I found what I need. There were 30 tasks in the article, most of them need to be done every day. I took note of 13.

1. Write or tell someone every day what you like about them.
I tried it before, I liked it. I immediately began to see the good in people. Now I hate everyone I see on the street. I even know the reason for this. I began to communicate more often with a person who tells me every day: I met such and such a person today, he is simply terrible! This guy is pissing me off!

2. Talk to a stranger every day
I'm quite shy, it's hard for me to make new acquaintances. This challenge will push me out of my comfort zone. But you need to think about how to talk to strangers

3. Take a photo every day
And this is what I tried. You immediately begin to try to look for inspiration, and then you begin to see it simply in all the things that surround you.

4. Take time to praise yourself.
I do not praise myself, only criticize. This challenge will help me find something good in myself that other people will immediately begin to notice.

5. Read a chapter of a book a day
I love to read, but lately there are few books that interest me, it's time to look for that one.

6. Giving up social media for a month
The original was "no media for a month", but I decided to give up social media. True, I will sometimes have to go to VK, because there my classmates throw off materials for tests and exams. But still, a firm “no” to all social networks, entry only when absolutely necessary.

7. Get inspired every day
I don't even know what inspires me. Today it was communication with my sister, and what can inspire me tomorrow is a big secret.

8. Think about the achievements you want to make in the next 30 years - one year a day
It will be difficult, but it will make you think. I don't even know what I want out of life. And this will be my guide.

9. Practice something every day
I chose twerk. For some reason, he interested me, I'll try to learn how to dance him.

10. Don't lie for a month
Sometimes there are situations in which you have to lie. This challenge to myself will teach me to look for another path. And you don’t have to remember in which situation I lied.

11. Don't complain
Complaining is my weakness. If I stop complaining, I will most likely start to be silent.

12. Meditate daily
Last year I tried meditation, I liked it. I became calmer, better concentrated on things, now it’s hard for me to do one thing (for example, write something, I want to check messages).

13. Do something selflessly daily
I stopped helping people a long time ago if I see that they need something. I am ashamed for that.

This is all I have chosen for myself. Each task is a test for me. It seems to me that my view of the world will change a lot.

How to change your life? Another guide to action to improve your life and put in order not only your thoughts, but also your things. As we know, everything is interconnected: if you lower your head and slouch, you will immediately feel insecure. 6. Keep a diary of your psychological chatter - that is, write down your thoughts and feelings that arose throughout the day. For example, how many times a day have you blamed yourself for something, how critical you are to others, how many times a day you have positive thoughts, etc.

7. For the next 100 days, try to have a good laugh at least once a day.

Study or self-development

8. Choose a difficult book that you still have not dared to read, but wanted to. Read it in 100 days from cover to cover.

9. Learn something new every day. For example, the name of a flower, the capital of a distant country, the name of a dog breed you like, etc. And in the evening you can scroll in your head all the new things that you learned over the past day, get a dictionary and learn a new word.

10. Stop complaining for the next 100 days. Negative thoughts lead to negative results. Every time you feel like complaining, try to stop yourself.

11. Set your alarm a minute earlier each day for 100 days. Try to get up as soon as the alarm goes off, open the windows, do light exercises. After 100 days, you will wake up 1.5 hours earlier without much effort.

12. For the next 100 days, enter " morning pages"- a simple stream of consciousness in the morning, which you will write down in a special notebook. This should be the first thing you do after waking up.

13. For the next 100 days, try to focus your attention on the thoughts, words, and images of who you want to be and what you want to achieve.

Finance

14. Make a budget. Write down every penny you spend in 100 days.

15. Search the Internet for good financial advice and pick 10 of them. Try to follow them for the next 100 days. For example, going to the store with limited cash and no credit card, doing several things in one trip to save on gas, etc.

16. Pay in stores only with paper money and put the remaining change in the piggy bank after purchases. After 100 days, calculate how much you can save.

17. For 100 days, do not buy anything that you do not really need (meaning fairly large purchases). Use this money to pay off a loan (if you have one) or put it in a savings account for six months.

18. For 100 days, dedicate at least 1 hour a day to finding or creating a source of additional income.

Do you feel tired already by dinner, although you have not completed even half of what was planned? Not enough time and energy for anything? It's time to learn how to plan correctly, change your attitude towards yourself and your tasks. That's how you can find free time for what really matters to you.

What tasks should be prioritised? A good indicator of what work needs to be done (beyond normal commitments) is activities that satisfy your needs for peace, food, human closeness, and spiritual growth.

Draw and color a star. Paint brighter areas that correspond to needs that you want to pay more attention to today and in the coming days. Leave less saturated areas that correspond to needs that are less important to you this week.

Then write down ideas for HOW to meet the needs in the near future. Follow your star.

Have you ever wondered how much time you could save if you didn't do everything that others want you to do? But in response to a request to do something, we say “yes” more often than we would like. And then the time we spend on these tasks is gone forever. Find out why you are in a hurry to say yes, even when you don’t want to at all.

Here's one exercise that will help reinforce every no-no: Put a string in your pocket in the morning. Each time you say “no” clearly and clearly, tie a knot in it. In the evening, summarize: if you count five knots, you can no longer do this exercise. Congratulations!



Wednesday. let go

It's time to get rid of the excess in your life: habits, things, rules, conventions and much more. Get rid of bad memories, bad habits, negative emotions, household rubbish or communication with annoying people, and life will become easier, more carefree and more enjoyable.

Whatever weighs on you, do a little "liberation ritual."

Take a blank sheet of A4 paper and write in large letters on it what you are drawn to the bottom. One word or a short sentence is enough, such as “fear”, “work anxiety”, or “anger”. Fold this sheet of paper into a “harbinger of misfortune” and let it fly away!

Fear is part of our life. We are all afraid of something: problems at work, misunderstanding of loved ones, dismissal, serious illness. You can leave everything as it is and capitulate, handing over the reins to your fears and depriving yourself of the ability to accept independent solutions. And you can accept the challenge, penetrate the essence of fears and learn how to deal with them, and possibly overcome them.

One of the techniques that can be adopted is yawning. When we are nervous or afraid, we move faster. To calm down, you need to slow down. One yawn helps with this. This will signal the parasympathetic nervous system responsible for relaxation, that the danger has passed and you can calm down. Exercise can be performed in a state of increased stress. Try to track your feelings: write down situations when you experienced anxiety, and how your body reacted when you yawned.


What is your self-esteem? What can you say about your self-confidence? Do you have self respect? Once to feel self-confidence does not mean to become confident person. Yes, people with high self-esteem have bad days. Our perception of ourselves is shaky and very easy to break. But the good news is that the more we do to develop ourselves as a person and take better care of ourselves, the stronger the foundation on which our self-confidence and self-esteem rest.

Reward yourself from time to time - it motivates you to keep going. Define a few tasks for yourself, or take the seven tasks from this article, and then mark what you managed to accomplish. For each task, determine a reward (going to the cinema, a box of chocolates, a bouquet of flowers, a favorite dish, a massage ...).



Saturday is a good day to clear life of unnecessary rubbish and bad habits, which means to find inner order. A large number of things are not a problem. The problem is when they are stored haphazardly or there are so many of them that there is simply not enough storage space. It is not at all necessary to do a spring cleaning if you are overcome by depression at the very thought. Make three promises to yourself and keep them:

  • Today I will clean up my first aid kit and throw away all expired medicines.
  • Today I will throw away all expired and spoiled products.
  • Today I will throw away all houseplants that have not bloomed or grown for a long time. And those that grow uncontrollably, I will give to neighbors or friends.

Sunday. Meditate

Tomorrow is Monday? It's OK. Don't think about the past and the future. Concentrate on what is happening here and now. The Buddha said, “There is no path to happiness. Being happy is the only way." Happiness is always there, just in difficult times, full of stress, we do not notice it. Mindfulness helps to cultivate this happiness in order to give it to yourself and to the whole world, on any day of the week.

I love different experiments when you challenge willpower, laziness, the usual routine of life, and even the whole society. Today at 00 hours and 00 minutes on the second of July, I decided to make adjustments in my life, and made a list of experiments for self-development and personal growth.

I will take about a month to try out most of the challenges. Because I’m sure that after 30 days it will become clear to you this or that thing, and this time is enough to develop some kind of habit. I hope that I will continue to do much of what I have tried - this is one of the main goals.

Yes, and why not? If it's fun and doesn't take too long. A good reason to end the hibernation of the last months, to break out of the inactive stupor and passive monotony. In addition, all this is related to my motto - "To live several lives in one life." Moreover, I will be glad if my articles will interest and inspire other people to conduct their experiments.

13. Every day to study something on astrology: I was very inspired by one Vitebsk guy who killed my skepticism in relation to this ancient belief system
14. Silence (including online communication): I dream of spending some time in complete silence since I learned about vipassana (spiritual practice, among the features of which is 10 days of silence). I can’t presume to set an exact deadline, at least a day can be carved out here.
15. Temper 30 days: maybe I'll hurt less later
16. 30 days without disputes and criticism: Being a freelancer, I see this task as not too difficult, but interesting.
17. Draw every day
18. 100 days to make your dreams come true: we start a thick notebook and write down every day what we have done to move towards our goal, even the smallest steps
19. Month of travel around the hometown: I'll try to search interesting places in Vitebsk
20. Play poker: and although I do this almost every day, I think that it will be necessary to develop a more rigid and structured game plan for such an experiment
22. Do stretching: after all, I once sat on the twine ... I want to lift my leg to my ear again
23. Watch classic old movies every day
24. For a month, get rid of one thing that I don’t use.
25. No complaining or whining for 30 days:
is it even possible?

Most likely I will combine some challenges, for example, to read and become a vegetarian, or to temper and not argue with anyone. If I come up with some more tests for the soul and body, then the list will be replenished. I will talk about the results with articles, photos and videos. Here is a plan for self-development for the next couple of years.

Digital detox or internet diet

I'll start by limiting the "tasty" and "harmful" - social media and entertainment portals. I have carried out this execution before with varying degrees of success, but now there is a serious reason - the summer. Ambitiously I declare that I am definitely not going to spend it boring and pointless.

The initial conditions are:
1. Feed Demon (my news consolidator is very handy, I recommend): 30 minutes every day (media, poker news, travel, psychology and motivation)
2. YouTube (entertainment): Wed and Sun (in general, twice a week)
3. VK and Instagram: 15-20 minutes every day, in the evening
5. Viber and WhatsApp: no limits (no one writes to me anyway)
