How I studied at the military institute. Military University of the Russian Federation

The choice of a military school for admission after school requires not only knowledge, but also the realization that there are special regulations for collecting documents and undergoing professional selection. Military schools have always been different from other educational institutions. Getting there is not so easy. Admission is accompanied by exams, psychological and physical tests.

Types of military schools

In our country, at the present time, there are 2 types of military vocational education- basic and advanced.

Basic education includes the following schools:

  • Cadet.
  • Suvorov.
  • Nakhimovskoe.

These educational institutions accept male individuals who have not reached the age of eighteen. At the school, the term of study can be 2-4 years.

Higher education includes the following educational institutions:

  • Command School.
  • Institute.
  • Academy.

In higher educational institutions, training lasts 2-3 years.

  • marine;
  • rocket troops;
  • railway troops;
  • military-technical;
  • military justice;
  • ground troops;
  • Cossack;
  • military musical.

What to do to enroll in a military school

You have made a decision and have no limits. First you need to apply to the district military registration and enlistment office. You will be given a form where you write about your desire to study at a military school. Be sure to indicate which particular school you will be applying to. Each university has its own regulations for admission, but you can highlight the general requirements for the documents being prepared.

An applicant for a military school must have:

  • A document confirming the completion of a complete secondary education.
  • Completed application form with a questionnaire.
  • Copy of passport, birth certificate and copy of military ID.
  • Autobiography.
  • Characteristics from the last place of study (work).
  • Photos for opening a personal file.
  • Documents confirming the availability of benefits.
  • Service card of a soldier (if any).

If the applicant has some personal achievements, then you need to provide all diplomas and certificates of completion of courses, certificates of sports achievements, parachuting or shooting, certificates of participation in olympiads or competitions. All these little things can be decisive in any contentious issue, whether to accept you or not.

With a lot of competition, applicants are interested in the availability of benefits. Privileges and benefits are provided for:

  • orphans and children without guardianship;
  • if the child has a gold medal;
  • students who have completed the preparatory courses of the selected university;
  • combatants;
  • graduates of other military institutions with basic flight training;
  • persons who have completed the first year of an ordinary university, where the profile specialty coincides with the specialty of the school.

How to enter a military school if you do not have special achievements

You must show excellent knowledge in the examinations and of course prove your motivation in the professional selection, which is always carried out before admission to the main tests. It is important to be able to formulate goals in your life and have excellent physical fitness. There is a high probability that at one of the selection stages you will be asked to write a detailed essay on the topic “why do I want to become a military man?”. Please note that this essay will significantly affect the perception of the applicant by the commission. Professional selection for 11th graders is held at local military registration and enlistment offices until May 15. If you enter after the army, then the selection for such applicants has been extended until June 1.

All personal files and documents of applicants are sent to the schools of their choice. From there, a letter with a challenge is already sent. Already in the school itself, various interviews for professional selection are held with applicants, and only after that candidates are allowed to take entrance exams. With their successful delivery, the applicant becomes a cadet and enters military life.

The military school is a good preparatory stage for the younger generation in the study of army affairs. However, the school is only a base that provides primary skills and knowledge for entering a university.

Military universities traditionally stand apart in a number of higher educational institutions: special conditions for admission, strict discipline and subordination, a specific regime ...

The vast majority of civilian universities in Russia are subordinate to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, while the military ones are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense, which establishes and regulates rules and procedures for them. Additionally, all military universities are divided by branches of service: universities missile troops, ground forces, air force, etc.

If you decide to enter a military university, be prepared for the fact that at all stages of the journey, from submitting documents to receiving the coveted "crust", you have to communicate with people in uniform. Therefore, when collecting information about a military university, one should not be guided by general civil rules and guidelines. For example, the rules for admission to military universities practically do not take into account innovations recent years: while the majority of applicants "in civilian life" take entrance exams in the form of tests, applicants for military universities write dictations and tests in the old fashioned way. The same can be said about the Unified State Examination: being outside the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, military leaders have the right to consider the Regulations on the conduct of a unified state exam as information for reflection, but not as a direct guide to action.

Universities with a broad profile

The set of specialties in which modern military universities are trained is quite extensive. The specialization of the university mainly depends on the profile, or rather, on the type of troops to which the educational institution belongs. At the same time, many military universities duplicate civilian areas of training, and more and more often in their "assortment" there are familiar economic and legal specialties. Thus, the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation trains sociologists, lawyers, managers of social and cultural activities, translators and social work specialists.

Some of the specialties offered by the universities of the Ministry of Defense are multifunctional - graduates are equally in demand both in "military field conditions" and "in civilian life." First of all, this concerns the engineering and technical direction. For example, from the walls of the Military Technical University of the Federal Service for Special Construction of the Russian Federation, engineers of lifting and transport, road, construction machines and equipment, specialists in industrial and civil construction, design highways, airfields, transport tunnels, etc.

Finally, a certain part of the military professions lies in a highly specific field of application, which has no analogues in civilian life. For example, after graduating from the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, one can become a specialist in mathematical support for research on weapons, equipment and the use of civil protection forces.

Autograph for the military commissar

To apply to a military university, the applicant will have to go to the military registration and enlistment office (at the place of residence).

You must have with you:

  • passport;
  • a copy of the document on secondary education (secondary students provide a certificate of current performance);
  • three photographs (without headgear, size 4.5x6 cm);
  • characteristics from the place of study or work;
  • autobiography.

In the military registration and enlistment office, the applicant writes an application with a request for admission to the selected university. All this must be done before April 20 of this year.

After the primary documents have been submitted, it remains to pass a medical examination, and yesterday's student becomes a candidate for study at a military university. Applications are considered by the admission committee of the university, and the final decision on admission to exams (or refusal to do so) is communicated to candidates through the military enlistment office by June 20.

The procedure for submitting documents is somewhat different for those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces: in this case, the applicant submits a report addressed to his immediate commander by April 1 of the current year, and he, having provided the petition with all the necessary papers, passes it on to the authority .

Another feature of entering military universities is that there are quite strict age restrictions. Young people who have not served in the army can become cadets from 16 to 22 years old, having "experience" of army service - up to 24 (age is determined at the time of application).

Fell - wrung out

Entrance tests to military universities are held from July 1 to July 20, and they also differ somewhat from "civilian" ones. To pass the competitive selection, knowledge of the Pythagorean theorem and the gimlet rule will not be enough.

The first stage is a psychological and psychophysical examination of candidates. Then - a test of physical fitness: pull-ups on the crossbar (11 times - "excellent", 9 - "good", 7 - "satisfactory"), hundred meters, 3 km run. And, finally, the actual exams in general education disciplines. They, as a rule, consist of mathematics (major subject) and dictation in the Russian language. The third exam (physics, chemistry, history) depends on the profile chosen educational institution.

The average competition for military universities is 2.5-3 people per place. However, these figures (not too high for Moscow) speak, rather, not about the ease of admission, but about its specifics. On the one hand, those wishing to receive military education really not much, on the other hand, not every civilian with average training is able to go through all the "military tricks" associated with admission (questionnaire - checking the psycho-emotional state - physical fitness - general education base).

The system of benefits provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation for applicants to higher educational institutions also applies to military universities: orphans, medalists, winners of olympiads, etc. have various privileges. this list By understandable reasons are disabled.

I would go to field marshals ...
Graduates leave the walls of the alma mater with the rank of lieutenant. All newly-made commanders are waiting for distribution: at least five years after graduation from a military university, yesterday's cadet must devote to the Fatherland. The further fate of the graduate will depend both on the type of troops and the place of service, as well as on personal qualities and ambitions. It is enough to look at the political and administrative elite of our country to understand that graduates of military universities can make a brilliant career and achieve impressive success. For officers who want to reach a high position, there are universities that provide a second military education, postgraduate courses, specialized advanced training institutes, etc.

Cadet or student?

When all the tests are passed, the candidate turns into a cadet. This status corresponds to the status of a student of a civil university, however, there are more differences between a cadet and a student than common features. If with the beginning of the student life, young people have the most fun and carefree time, then with the beginning of their studies at a military university, this very time ends. Routine, schedule and subordination become a fundamental element in the life of all future officers.

Cadets are removed from military registration (they are not subject to general conscription) and put on a special account - they are credited to a valid military service. For the first two years they (regardless of the need for government housing) live in the barracks and, in addition to training sessions perform duties traditionally included in the concept of military service. From the third year, you can move to a hostel or live at home.

All types of allowances are issued for the cadet, he is given uniforms. Holidays last two weeks in winter and a month in summer. In fact, studying at a military university is equivalent to military service.

Sergei Litvinov, a graduate of a military university:

The lack of hazing is more than compensated for by tough discipline, exhausting physical exertion, and in the first and second years - also by a variety of chores. Get ready to learn how to hold a jackhammer in your hands, lay asphalt, do all kinds of repairs of premises and furniture, in the fall - harvesting in the fields near Moscow, in winter - endless clearing of roads from snow and many other useful things.

You will be taught how to shoot, operate military equipment, perform drills and carefully take care of military uniform. In parallel, it will be necessary to learn military regulations and, of course, all disciplines of the specialty. You will have to study at full strength, often at night, as very serious disciplinary sanctions are imposed for poor progress.

Until recently, such a tight schedule was indispensable for anyone who dreamed of studying at a military university. Today, along with the harsh tradition, there is also a softer regime - for those who enter on a paid basis. (The first experiment on the recruitment of "payers" was held at the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2003). Such cadets are relieved of the need to bear the hardships and hardships of military service: their life differs little from the life of ordinary civilian students.

This question is often asked by readers. I'll try to be brief. As always, only my emotions. At first, I felt great joy because I just entered there. Getting up at 6 in the morning, exercising, cleaning the territory and exercising in the field, eating according to the schedule - none of this caused any difficulties. As you can see, I have already outlined the circle of future difficulties.

But as I got involved in the process and compared my life with, for example, senior students came to understand that somewhere I was being played.

It all depends on the commanders and chiefs

Remember once and for all your life. Wherever you serve, whoever you work or do, everything is in the hands of your superiors and commanders. In the first year we were led by a very cruel company commander. It was the longest and most difficult year of my studies. Here and so everything is new. It is necessary to combine study and service (who will say that the cadets do not serve - they were not there), and even the constant pressure of the boss.

And it happened

By the way, the most idiotic way to get away from the army is to go to military school! Remember this. There was almost no personal time, for the misconduct of one person, sometimes not very serious, the whole course suffered. Permanent additional exercises for drill, study of charters and running. But! I studied at this base for the remaining 5 years. Everything that I learned from the charter - I learned in the first year. And the guard unit was enough for me in general for the entire service.

What are the difficulties

  • Life according to the schedule - someone likes it, someone does not. You begin to value time every minute.
  • A combination of study and service - today you have a laboratory, and you are on guard or on a bedside table, but you have to take it. 5-10 outfits came out per month. The learning gap is huge.
  • Cleaning the territory - all the years of training, we were assigned a territory where leaves, snow and cigarette butts constantly fell. Order was put in place by our forces 24 hours 7 days a week all year round, think for yourself.
  • Life in concrete walls - a city behind the wall, and there only twice a week (on undergraduate it was like this). How can you not go on your own?
  • Outfit for the dining room - I will single out a separate disaster. In any case, according to my feelings. Have you washed a thousand and a half dishes for the last time? And also spoons, forks and jars of food. Yes, and potatoes were sometimes peeled until 4 o'clock in the morning.

Basically everything. If someone can add, write in the comments.

On the video, a set of floor exercises No. 1. Not very clear, really:

The question is relevant. Everyone knows that in the military field there are many duties that depend on the position. The level of education determines what a soldier will do. Studying at a military school is both challenging and interesting. It is important that a person likes military theme, then he will be in his place.

general information

Military education in Russia has always had distinctive status and caused special respect.

You can get a secondary military education (cadet corps, Suvorov schools) and higher (military command school).

Boys can start building a career after grade 9. For this there are cadet corps, Suvorov schools.

The duration of training is 3 to 6 years old. For example, specialists in weapons of mass destruction and doctors study for 6 years. Suvorov training time - 3 years. They receive not higher, but preparatory education. In the future, graduates enter a higher educational institution.

Graduates have great opportunities. In addition to the specialty of the military, they receive an additional profile: a programmer, mathematician, lawyer, engineer.

To enter the above institutions, you must be in good health and do well in school.

Advantages of the institution

  • Military will never go unnoticed by the state. The reason is that it is these people who stand at the post of the state and ensure peace and order.
  • Many benefits: various salary bonuses (for service, for qualifications).

Cons of studying

Disadvantages of learning:

  • Life on schedule. Many people don't like it. People begin to appreciate every minute.
  • The need to combine study and service. For example, if a student has lab work and an outfit scheduled on the same day, then they still have to turn in the assignment.
  • High risk of injury. During the service, a person can be injured of any nature, or even fatal. You can't get a health guarantee. Those who dream of a quiet office job should not go to a military school.
  • Instability in terms of future work. Military personnel are often sent on business trips at any time and in any place. This can be a big problem for starting a family.
  • Constant cleaning of the territory. Students clean up the place assigned to them all year round.
  • Living in concrete walls beyond which the city lies. You can only leave by appointment. There is a great risk of going on a self-propelled.
  • dining room outfits. The essence of the work: washing, at least, a large number plates and peeling potatoes until 4 am.
  • Psychological discomfort. The future military must be prepared for difficulties. Not everyone can deal with them.
  • Logistics varies from institution to institution.
  • Not everyone immediately understands what it means to be "military".
  • Many interesting things become boring after a few sessions.
  • The need to reconsider the attitude to many things and change the usual way of life.

In order to become a student of the school, you must pass entrance tests. Only citizens can apply for the title of cadet Russian Federation with a secondary education.

What the future military needs:

  1. Review the requirements for candidates.
  2. Prepare all necessary documents.
  3. Take the papers to a special authority - commissariat.
  4. If the Commissariat makes a positive decision, undergo a medical and professional technical examination.
  5. Pass the professional selection. At this stage, first of all, the state of physical fitness is assessed. To do this, the applicant pulls himself up on the horizontal bar, passes the running standards for a distance of 100 meters and 3 kilometers, and swims.
  6. Passing exams in school sciences. As a rule, these are mathematics, Russian and an additional subject (it depends on the direction of the chosen educational institution). Exams can be counted in the form of the Unified State Examination, the usual form of delivery is also possible.

Before entering a military school, it is necessary to weigh the pros and cons, and only then make a choice. It is important to remember that difficulties can lie in wait anywhere, so the most important thing is faith in one's own strengths and the desire to get the specialty of one's dreams.

Cadets speak well of their native university, but note that the discipline in the barracks and educational buildings is tough, it is difficult to study, since high requirements are placed on the level of knowledge.
